Vibrant, genuine and soulful, Dawn Pemberton has deep musical roots that take her powerful voice from gospel and soul to jazz, funk and world music. She has become a staple of the Vancouver music scene and can often be found tearin’ it up as a vocalist, teacher, facilitator, choir director and “go to girl” for live performances and studio sessions.

This past March Karla Mundy and I were invited to be guest clinicians for a fabulous choral festival called, Festival of Voices, in Smithers BC. Overall, it was a rich experience that affirmed the magic of music and it’s ability to create community and transform people.  It was a jam packed weekend, so jam packed there wasn’t anytime to take pictures!
