I am so excited!!!
The video explores what happens when things like ego, pride, fear and selfishness prevent us from connecting with others in a genuine way. Lovers, strangers, first dates, the lonely, the seekers… all are struggling to find ways to be seen and heard. In some circumstances things work out and in others it is too late. Ultimately, the video is asking ‘What is it that you need to say and why aren’t you saying it?’.

Ahmad Jamal is a master of contrast. He can pull you in with cool and easy licks and then hit you with technical ferocity and dynamic shifts all within the same musical phrase. I love the way he takes his time to build and layer ideas one upon the other and manipulates and massages sections and bar lines. He is not bound by harmony or tempo. Melodies are just path ways to other realms. He is free. Listen to him search and soar on “I Love Music” and just when you think it can’t get any better, it does.

She has become a staple of the Vancouver music scene and can often be found tearin’ it up as a vocalist, teacher, facilitator, choir director and “go to girl” for live performances and studio sessions.
