Sunday Slow Jam Vol.53

Today a community of people gathered to say goodbye to a sweet friend, brother, son, nephew, and neighbour. What a gift it is to remember and grieve, celebrate and sob, and ponder and smile all in a single moment. The older I get, the more I realise that my joy and sorrow are one in the same. I am thankful for it. I will miss N. dearly, he left us way too soon. He was a student of mine. A funny, curious, quirky, intelligent, kind and compassionate young man with a generous heart and warm smile. I am so thankful that I was able to know him. In May, when we had our last lesson, I never thought that we wouldn't see each other again. Once more, Life reminds me that it is ever changing, nothing is permanent.
